Caeliai collects very little, and this page says exactly what and why. Caeliai is a founder-led studio run by Kalan Peace; questions about anything here go to contact@caeliai.com and are answered by him.

What we collect.

The public store checker requires your contact name, store URL, work email, and selected yearly revenue band before it runs. We use the name and email to identify and contact the requester, the URL to inspect public store signals, and the revenue band to determine eligibility for the full brand-specific study. The request also records basic context such as the source page, referring page, campaign tags, IP address, and browser user agent so we can protect the endpoint from abuse and understand where the request came from. No store login or access is required. The result is cached in your browser so refreshing the page does not change it immediately.

Email you send to contact@caeliai.com is kept as normal correspondence.

Browsing this site requires no account and sets no advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Our hosting infrastructure keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested page, time) as virtually all web hosting does.

How we use it.

Submitted contact names, store URLs, emails, and revenue bands are used to run and return the free instant public check, determine eligibility for the full study, and follow up about that request. Everyone who completes the form receives the instant check; stores reporting more than $1 million in yearly revenue qualify for the full brand-specific study. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not add you to automated marketing sequences.

Research evidence and screenshots.

Our research captures screenshots and records of AI shopping answers. These record what public AI systems said about brands and products; they are not personal data about you. In published research and public samples, brands that have not engaged us are anonymized or, where named, described only by what the public record of the AI answer shows.

Client work is private by default. Evidence collected in a paid engagement (screenshots, catalog reads, analytics views you share) is used for your deliverable, is not published without your written agreement, and is anonymized if we ever reference the pattern in research.

Retention and deletion.

We keep store-checker submissions and engagement evidence only as long as they are useful for the requested check, follow-up, security, and the research record. Email contact@caeliai.com from the address you submitted and we will delete your submission and tell you when it is done.

Third parties we rely on.

Vercel serves the public site. Cloudflare runs the checker and intake endpoint; checker submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1. When configured, the intake workflow forwards the submission to Make, which can send Kalan a private Telegram alert. Resend can also send an internal notification email to Caeliai. These processors receive only the data needed for that workflow.
